UAE delegation visits NPRA

Manama, June 8 (BNA): Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has met a UAE delegation as part of the joint cooperation among GCC nationality and passports departments to facilitate the transit procedures. The delegation was received by the Director of Exits Shawqi Al Subai and Head of E-Border Thabit Mohammed Al Shoroqi. NPRA experience in e-systems such as e-visa and the upcoming systems were reviewed. The delegation that includes Major Mohammed Ahmed Al Zaabi and Captain Salem Al Rashdi highlighted that E-Ports project (E-Gates) streamlines the procedures of exiting and entering for GCC citizens, residents and visitors. They highlighted the regional development through the activation of the e-systems for travelling procedures, especially the e-gates.
