Speaker receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Apr. 8 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla has expressed his appreciation of the supportive stances of the Egyptian leadership towards Bahrain, highlighting the importance of supporting joint initiatives, projects and programmes that reflect the common aspirations and how to upgrade them. This came he received here today the Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Essam Awad. Al-Mulla underscored the importance of the region's security and stability, commending Arab's unified stances in the Operation Decisive Storm, wishing Egypt further progress and prosperity. The ambassador expressed his country's appreciation and pride in Bahrain's unwavering stances towards Egypt and its people, highlighting Egypt's aspiration to promote joint cooperation and consolidate bilateral relations, in light of the latest developments in the region.
