Sheikh Joaan Attends Bendjedid's Funeral

Algiers, October 08 (QNA) - Deputizing for HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani participated in the funeral of former Algerian president Chadli Bendjedid, held today in the Algerian capital. HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani conveyed condolences of HH the Emir to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the death of the former Algerian president. He also conveyed condolences of HH the Emir to the family of the deceased president. HE Sheikh Joaan conveyed condolences of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the death of Bendjedid to the Algerian president and the deceased's family.(QNA)
