QMA Film Wins Best Editing Award at Cannes

Doha, October 20 (QNA) - Qatar Museums Authority's (QMA) documentary film "Be Amusing" has won the Black Dolphin best editing award in the 2012 Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards for the short film category. The film is a joint production with production company Resolution Production and was produced as part of a campaign by QMA's Human Capital Department to be screened during the 5th Qatar Careers Fair in February 2012 in London, a statement by QMA said. QMA and Resolution Production were both awarded the Black Dolphin award and given a certificate of appreciation in a ceremony at Cannes' Palm Beach, the statement said, adding that a delegation headed by QMA's Chief Human Capital Officer Sharoq Al Malki were present. Al Malki said that the idea behind the film stemmed from QMA's belief that audio and visual production has a significant impact on any successful campaign. She pointed to the constant support and encouragement of HE QMA's Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani. (QNA)
