Qatar's Embassy in Australia Celebrates National Day

Canberra, December 17 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to Australia Yousif bin Ali Al Khater has hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar's National Day in the Australian capital of Canberra. The function was attended by former federal parliamentary speaker Peter Slipper, Vice of Canberra Jia Broadman, Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Geoffrey Brown, Head of protocol at the Foreign Affairs Sally Mansfield, Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Argentina, Dean of the Council of Arab Ambassadors and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Australia's grand mufti Dr. Ibrahim Abu Mohamed and ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to Australia. The function was also attended by a number of members of the diplomatic corps in Canberra, a number of senior political, economic and social figures, business men and women, leaders of Arab and Muslim communities in Australia and representatives of culture and media.
