Qatar's Consulate General in Karachi Celebrates National Day

Karachi, December 23 (QNA) - HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Karachi Rashid bin Shafeea Al Marri hosted a reception ceremony on the occasion of Qatar's National Day. The ceremony was attended by Industry Minister Abdul Rauf Siddiqui and Special Education and Archives Minister Rafique Engineer, Rehabilitation Minister Haji Muzaffar, Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Relief Department Halim Adil Shaikh and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Press and Media Waqar Mehdi in addition to members of Sindh Parliament and constitutional institutions, military leaders, consuls and members of GCC's and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to Karachi, a large number of businessmen, representatives of companies operating in Pakistan and press and media people. A documentary film about the past and the present of the State of Qatar and the comprehensive development made by the state in many economic, cultural, social, developmental and urban areas was projected during the ceremony. Pamphlets on the comprehensive renaissance and the investment opportunities in Qatar were also distributed among the guests. (QNA)
