Qatar's Ambassador to Pakistan Hosts Reception Marking National Day

Islamabad, December 18 (QNA) - Qatar's ambassador to Pakistan, Sayar Abdul Rahman al-Mawdah hosted a reception Tuesday to celebrate Qatar's national day. The event was attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, a number of ministers, members of Pakistan's National Assembly and Senate, some senior Pakistani figures including the President of Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Yaqub, Minister of petroleum and Natural Resources Asim Hussain, Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed and Pakistan's Muslim League Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Senior armed forces' officials, dignitaries, and Arab and Foreign diplomats accredited to Pakistan attended the reception as well, along with a large number of businessmen, media personnel, and society ladies who extended congratulations to the leadership and the people of the State of Qatar hoping them continuous progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
