Qatar's Ambassador to Germany Hosts Reception on National Day

Berlin, December 19 (QNA) - Qatar's Ambassador to Germany, HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed al-kholaifi, has hosted a reception ceremony on the occasion of the country's National Day. The reception was attended by HE Cornelius Zimmermann, adviser of the German President Joachim Gauck, who presented his best wishes on behalf of the President; HE Eckart Peter Hans von Klaeden, the Minister of State at the German Chancellery, who presented his best wishes on behalf of Chancellor Angela Merkel; HE Heicho Thomas, the Director of the Office of German Affairs, who presented his best wishes on behalf of the German Foreign Minister, Dr. Guido Westerwelle. The reception was also attended by HE Wolfgang Ischinger, Chairman of the of the Munich Security Conference (MSC); the German Foreign Ministry director-general for the Middle East and North Africa, HE Boris Ruge along with a number of senior officials at the Foreign, Interior, Defense, Economy, Technology and Environment ministries. A number of ambassadors, diplomats accredited to Germany, members of the German political parties and the Bundestag, representatives of ruling Mayor of Berlin HE Klaus Wowereit along with prominent figures in the business and finance sector and German media, Arabs and representatives of Muslim unions Muslim and Arab in Germany have also attended the reception.
