Qatar Supports Building of Arab Society Potentials

Rabat, September 10 (QNA) - Qatar has reiterated its strong support for the building of the civil society's potentials within the Arab region in the aftermath of the changes that took place following the Arab spring events, HE the Assistant Foreign Minister Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri said Monday. In the opening session of the regional consultative meeting, held today in Morocco, on strengthening partnerships to build civil society capacities in post-conflicts, His Excellency underlined that the building of the societies' potentials requires strongly-devoted partnerships and coordinated efforts to exchange expertise and technologies in all fields within the Arab societies in order to gain tangible outcomes. To this end, he said, Qatar is welcoming any initiative that brings Arab societies capacities together and deems any joint cooperation between the Arab League and the United Nations in this regard, a unique chance for the League to actively participate in.
