Qatar Beat Vietnam in Football Friendly

Doha, October 28 (QNA) - The Qatari football youth team defeated Vietnamese counterparts 2-1 on Sunday in a friendly match at Grand Hamad Stadium of Al Arabi Sports Club. Abdulkarim Hassan and Abdulmajeed Enadi scored for Qatar. The match was the team's final preparation for the Youth Asian Cup in the UAE from November 3-17. Qatar is in Group D, along with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Australia. The competition's four semi-finalists will qualify to the Youth World Cup in Turkey 2013. Qatar's first game will be against Australia on November 4, followed by Saudi Arabia two days later before they meet with Syria on November 8. (QNA)
