Qatar and Algeria Sign Agreement

Algiers, December 12 (QNA) - Algerian President Abdel Aziz Bouteflika signed today two decrees related to cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Algeria. A statement issued by the Algerian Presidency said the first decree relates to a cooperation agreement in the field of wakfs (endowments) and Islamic affairs between governments of Algeria and the State of Qatar, signed in Doha on 28 December 2010. The statement explained that the second decree relates to an agreement on the exemption of the two countries subjects carrying diplomatic, special or mission passports from entry visa requirements, signed in Algiers on 24 January 2010.
