Over 500 Thousand Benefited from Qatar Charity's Ramadan Campaign

Doha, September 09 (QNA) - The total number of the people benefited of Qatar Charity's Ramadan Campaign for the year 1433, in Qatar exceeded 500 thousand people at a cost of more than 11.5 million riyals, spent on a range of symbiotic and public awareness projects. The Executive Manager of local development at Qatar Charity Mohamed Ali Al-Ghamidi said that the 1433 Ramadan Campaign has successfully achieved its goals, fostering a spirit of solidarity and compassion in the society and developing the ties of brotherhood among its members. Al-Ghamidi noted in a press statement that Ramadan campaign included symbiotic projects for low-income families, workers and bystanders, such as Iftar in its various forms and Eid gifts to orphans. It also included public projects such as Baraha Project and (Tarawih) radio program. (QNA)
