Operations Dukhan of Qatar Petroleum Celebrates Financial Day of Operations Management

Doha, December 15 (QNA) -Operations Dukhan celebrated on Saturday the financial day of the operations departments of 2012 with representatives of the various department of Qatar Petroleum (QP) attending. A press release QP issued here today said that the celebration started with a presentation by Operations Dukhan , followed by another show of the latest offshore operations and then the special part of the drilling operations and the gas operations was presented. The press release made clear that the celebration held at dukhan recreation club stated with a welcoming address delivered by Ahmad Saif Ahmad Al Sulaiti, the Operations Manager of Dukhan Fields, following which Said Mubarak Said Al Mohannadi, the Director Operations of QP officially opened the meeting. Al Mohannadi said in his opening address that the Operations Management witnessed great development in all areas thanks to the participation of all the operations staff where they were recently developed methods of work to meet the needs of the present, emphasizing the need to continue in changing to keep up with the challenges and the future opportunities. Elaborating he said, "We must be proactive to take advantage of the opportunities through detecting the shortage position that may harm the work process and then select the most appropriate solutions and expertise to fill them, and not to overlook as well the community aspect in the action process because of its significant impact to enrich our experience and develop our modus operandi which firmly forms the essential basis for the development of the human cadres." Concluding his address, the Director Operations of QP Al Mohannadi said," Soon all the operations managers will become eligible for the integrated management system in terms of quality, environment and health and safety".(QNA)
