NHRC Chairman, Al Marri Congratulates HH the Emir on National Day

Doha, December 17 (QNA) - Chairman National Human Rights Committee Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri has expressed his sincere congratulations to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Qatari people on the occasion of Qatar National Day.    In remarks to the press, Dr. Al-Marri considered the National Day as a pause and an inspiration of the sincere loyalty spirit to the soil of Qatar, its wise leadership which has set before its eyes the high status of the country and the loftiness of its banner. "This is the day in which we cannot surpass the story and drive of the towering figure Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani the real founder of the State of Qatar, May the Almighty Allah Have Mercy Upon Him, who was able to gain experience and familiarity with administration of the country from an early age, and has succeeded in steering it with wisdom and success in the midst of a wavy sea of events and variables, " he added. Dr. Al-Marri said Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani made endeavours to maintain Qatar a single, united and independent entity until it emerged fixed-paced and cohesively-built, and gathered its tribes under its banner, united it and drew up its future and strengthened its presence and borders.     He said the wise government, led by HH the Emir, is progressing on the same approach of the founders with ambitious plans touching the ground in steady and rapid steps that became evident in the construction boom currently underway in the country, as well as the political and cultural, sports and social development that made the State of Qatar a starting point of the Arab and Muslim nations towards progress and growth.(QNA)
