Nasser bin Hamad invited to Tunisia

Manama, May 7 (BNA)Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has today received an official invitation from Tunisian Minister of Youth, Sports, Women and Family, Saber Bouatay to visit Tunisia. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad received Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed bin Yusuf who delivered the invitation, in the presence of General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS) President Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowder. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad welcomed the invitation, stressing his keen interest in exploring the Tunisian youth and sport experience. He reviewed with the Tunisian ambassador good bilateral relations and means of bolstering cooperation, hailing the diplomat's efforts to strengthen joint ties. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad lauded strong youth and sport relations, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation further. He directed GOYS President to communicate with the Tunisian Embassy and the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Women and Family to organize more progarmmes and exchange successful experiences. The Tunisian Ambassador congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad on crowing Manama as the 1st Capital for Arab Youth in recognition of Bahrain's unique experience in this regard. He stressed his country's keenness on bolstering constructive cooperation, paying tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his outstanding role in promoting youth and sport in Bahrain as well as efforts to promote bilateral relations and exchanges in these vital sectors.
