Mongolia-Belarus general export loan agreement extended

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on February 24, the Cabinet made the following decisions. The Cabinet ordered relevant ministers to take necessary measures to speed up major projects including the reconstruction of central wastewater treatment plant, Ulaanbaatar water supply improvement, and the construction of Erdeneburen hydropower plant, Solongo 1 apartment complex, and Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan road. The Cabinet approved 1-year extension of the Mongolia-Belarus general agreement on export loan, which expired on December 31, 2020. Incidentally, 58 of the 71 fire-fighting equipment and machinery have been provided to the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia as part of the agreement.
