Lami To Call For Re-Shaping The Elements Of Media In The Arab Countries

BAGHDAD (NINA) - The head of the Federation of Arab Journalists, President of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad al-Lami, said that we have presented more than 50 martyrdom journalists in covering the battles of liberation. Al-Lami, during a speech at the celebration of the coronation of Baghdad, the Arab media capital, called on Arab guests to reformulate the media in their countries and keep pace with modern means of communication to preserve the minds of young people. "More than 1,000 journalists, correspondents and military photographers have all been brought forward to convey the truth," al-Lami said, added "The Iraqi army and its fighters all fought to expel terrorism and defeat extremism, but there were some media promoted and distorted facts to the citizens." In the same context, al-Lami announced that a joint work pact with the Federation of Arab Journalists in the Arab League will be signed next week./ End
