KAHRAMAA to Participate in World Energy Forum 2012 in Dubai

Doha, October 21 (QNA) - Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) has announced that it will participate in the World Energy Forum 2012 to be held in Dubai between 22-24 October under the sponsorship of Dubai's Supreme Council of Energy. KAHRAMAA said in a press statement today that HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed Saleh Al-Sada and KAHRAMAA Chairman Engineer Eisa Al-Kuwari will attend the forum. This year's session of the World Energy Forum entitled 'A Forum For World Leaders', and will witness the presence of high profile dignitaries including heads of states and governments in addition to ministers concerned form different countries. The forum will discuss safe and renewable energy, ways to provide clean energy, as well as the diversification of energy sources such as nuclear, solar, wind energy, hydropower, biofuels and clean coal. It will also discuss water issues and other topics, including sustainable social and economic development issues. (QNA)
