Jordanian National Defence College Delegation Visits Diplomatic Institute

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - A delegation of students from the Royal Jordanian National Defence College visited this morning the Diplomatic Institute at the Foreign Ministry. Director of the Diplomatic Institute Dr. Hassan bin Ibrahim Al-Mohannadi presented a lecture to the delegation about the foreign policy orientations of the State of Qatar. The lecture dealt with the internal principles of Qatar's foreign policy presented by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's role in activating the Qatari diplomacy, economic developments and social transformations. The Director of the Diplomatic Institute's lecture also dealt with the new foreign policy orientations of Qatar in the era of globalization. The lecture also focused on Qatar's active role in the peaceful settlement of international disputes and its active membership in the international organizations and the economic diplomacy as well as its role in human rights issues. The visiting delegation expressed appreciation to the Diplomatic Institute and hailed the significant and effective role played by the State of Qatar on the Arab and international arenas. (QNA)
