"IMAGES OF EURASIA" EXPOSITION

Moscow, June 4 (Khabar) - Pictures of Central Asian artists became very popular in West during recent years.

This tendency reached the Russian capital as well. The "Images of Eurasia" exposition was opened in Moscow.

Daniil Cherepanov is the owner of Russian French house of arts "Cherepanov".

He likes Central Asian painting for unique color and special energy, philosophy and even mystics.

Daniil Cherepanov, general director of House of arts "Cherepanov":- We fight for preserving of our cultural heritage. Though today we are different countries, we have much in common.

The exposition includes works of film director Serge Gauthier, descendant of famous kin of Gauthier and Russian prince kin of Pavlov. Genre of works - from classics till vanguard. The works of these authors take a worthy place in most museums and private collections all over the world.

Yevgeny Fridlin paints in bright Korovinsky style. His pictures are light, lively and colorful. Marat Bikeyev synthesis of philosophic experiences, doubts and expectations of changes. Akhat Akhmet is a painter who presented in his pictures the world outlook of sufii. His pictures are lifeless and on the other hand they have live details and bright colors.

Yelena Nochevka, art director of House of arts "Cherepanov":- We tried to present various styles and directions - classics, pictures that make us think, depict some myths, legends but interpret with modern presentation and just pictures - symbol of bright mood.

"Images of Eurasia" is an educational and exhibition project. It presents lectures about Asian ethnos and art, concerts of musical college of Gnesinykh and master-classes of teachers of Surikovsky Art Institute.

Also the organizers want to draw attention to the film with the same title, which would tell about applied art of Central Asian states.

The film will show material about national jewelry art, costumes, talisman and other attributes of Central Asian people.
