HRH Premier receives senior officials

Manama, June 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today a number of senior state officials. The audience extended sincere congratulations to HRH the Prime Minister on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, praying Allah Almighty to bless him with abundant good health and happiness. HRH Premier exchanged cordial talks with those present, highlighting the solid ties bonding all members of the Bahraini people within the framework of the cultural, sectarian and religious diversity which, he asserted, has made Bahrain stronger and entitled it to be a role model of co-existence, fraternity and love throughout history. HRH Premier said that the kingdom is on the threshold of a new phase of comprehensive nation-building in all fields, stressing that attempts to impede the development march will not affect efforts to fulfill the citizens' aspirations. "Any attempt to undermine the citizens' security or affect the development process, which is most and foremost aimed at upgrading the citizens' lives, is totally rejected," he said. HRH the Prime Minister pointed out that the Bahraini people will always remain united, and dedicated to defending the nation and preserving its gains and achievements. He said that social relations should be strengthened by collective security, stressing that "We should not keep doors open for those posing a threat to the security and stability of our society'. He affirmed the Bahraini society's deep-rooted traditions and values, including communication and fraternity.
