HRH Premier receives CBB governor

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Rasheed Al-Maraj. Al-Miraj conveyed to HRH Premier sincere thanks and appreciation from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) for patronising the graduation ceremony of the tenth batch of its students taking the MBA programme, running in cooperation with the prestigious US DePaul University. HRH Premier extended sincere congratulations to BIBF graduates and administrative staff, lauding their efforts in preparing qualified national competencies that will serve the financial and banking sector in the kingdom. He affirmed that the financial and banking sector is a source of pride for Bahrain, giving its crucial role in enhancing its status as a leading regional financial and banking hub. CBB governor lauded HRH the Prime Minister's interest in Bahraini competencies working in the financial and banking sector, and praised his keenness to invest in the human resources through rehabilitating them in the scientific and knowledge levels so as to prepare them to assume their roles in supporting the government's efforts in comprehensive development.
