HMC Appoints Medical Team to Establish Academic Health System

Doha, October 06 (QNA) - Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) appointed a new leading medical team that includes a group of eminent experts to help establishing a pioneer academic health system in accordance with the international standards. The team's head and his five deputies will cooperate with HMC's medical staff to upgrade its clinical practice. HMC's Director General Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari the institution has invited and attracted the best talent to lead efforts towards offering the best and the finest medical care services for patients. In a statement on Saturday, Al Kuwari said that the new appointments reflect efforts to establish an academic medicine culture in Qatar, with HMC encouraging scientific research, which leads to better health care services. She added that the new appointments are also indicative of the institution's determination to achieve the highest possible levels in therapeutic services provided to the community of Qatar. (QNA)
