HE Qatar's Premier Holds Talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister

Addis Ababa, November 05 (QNA) - An official session of talks was held here today between the State of Qatar and Ethiopia under HE Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn. The talks addressed bilateral relation, ways to boost bilateral economic and commercial cooperation and to enhance investment opportunities for the national and private institutions and companies in the two countries, in addition to a range of regional and international issues of common concern. The session was attended by Their Excellences members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Prime Minister. It was also attended by a number of Ethiopian ministers. Following the talks HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and HE Hailemariam Desalegn witnessed the signing of an agreement on economic and technical cooperation between gvernmentsof the State of Qatar and the e Republic of Ethiopia, an agreement on establishing a joint committee for cooperation between the two governments and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the establishment of bilateral consultations between the Qatari and Ethiopian foreign ministries. HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the Ethiopian Prime Minister signed the minutes of the Qatari Ethiopian high-level bilateral discussions held in Addis Ababa on November 5. (QNA)
