HE the Minister of Culture Launches Bayt Al-Hikma (House of Wisdom) Tomorrow

Doha, September 18 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari will inaugurate, tomorrow,Wednesday at the second floor of the Culture Tower, the House of Wisdom center (Bayt Al-Hikma, or House of Wisdom, launched by the ministry as a new cultural radiance in the country. The ceremony will be attended by a number of intellectuals and the media professionals, as well as officials in the ministry. The opening ceremony program includes several paragraphs most notably the opening of Doha 2010 Festivity Photos Gallery, the launch of the House of Wisdom Book and the launch of Press Archive, which documents the role of that national newspapers in the success of the festivity. HE the Minister said in his introduction to the House of Wisdom book that the opening of the center comes to commemorate the celebration of Doha Capital of Arab Culture 2010. He stressed that the goals of Doha 2010 were achieved, and Qatar had a distinctive year as the promising talents found the support and attention that enabled them to emerge. Bayt Al-Hikma Centre consists of a reception hall and other one for seminars and lectures, a Photos gallery a library, cinema and a space for art exhibitions. (QNA)
