Doha Trade Fair 2013 to Be Launched on January 1st

Doha, December 25 (QNA) - Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has announced that the Doha Trade Fair 2013 will kick start on January 1st with participation of over 570 exhibitors from across 29 countries. The Fair, to be organized in cooperation with Maraya Public Relations, will feature over 570 renowned exhibitors from 29 countries, showcasing and selling a wide range of products varying from household items; toys, gadgets and electronics; perfume and cosmetics; to clothes and food. QTA's expo organizing section head Amar Al Saadi said: "On behalf of Qatar Tourism Authority, I would like to announce the launch of another very promising edition of the yearly awaited Doha Trade Fair." "For 2013, we have saved no effort to see this superb cross-industry event serving as a strong platform to promote Qatar as a true cosmopolitan hub that embodies the essence of multi-national living with a solid respect and a steadfast commitment to the fabrics of our country and our community." Spanning 15000 square meters at the Doha International exhibition center the Doha Trade Fair 2013 will kick start on January 1st and stretch till January 10th. "It is, undoubtedly, the largest bi-annual consumer exhibition of its kind here in Qatar and one of the region's leading trade shows featuring over 570 exhibitors from across 29 countries who will put forth their most premium merchandise range from souvenirs to F&B to fashion and jewelry," he said. Al Saadi added the Doha Trade Fair is today considered by many to be a key fixture on the country's annual calendar of influential happenings that are geared towards supporting the private sector and its pool of players which are growing exponentially with new and innovative ideas for business burgeoning continuously. "It is an event that we, at QTA, ensure to develop year on year in line with our strategy to boost the tourism and the local trade industry." The Doha Trade Fair 2013 will open its doors to the public from next Sunday at the Doha Exhibitions Center. (QNA)
