Doha, October 24 (QNA) -The cabinet has highly lauded the historic visit HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani , paid to the Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon , affirming the visit , its significant outcomes and the wide scale welcome and applause it has gained , is regarded a lighting mark on the course of the Palestinian cause . This was stated by HE Deputy Prime Minister and minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, HE Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud who chaired the weekly regular cabinet meeting held at the Emiri Diwan Premises here on Wednesday. Following the meeting HE Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud also said the visit is also regarded a tremendous pushing power to the Arab and international endeavors aiming to terminate the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, materialize the Palestinian national reconciliation and reiterate the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people with their right to establish their independent state with the holy city of Al Quds as its capital, to the fore.
