BTECH to hold seminar on ICT

Manama, June 20 (BNA): The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) will organsie Tuesday, June 23, a an open forum on "the Future of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Bahrain, the Region and the World". The seminar aims to explore the development horizons of the ICT sector and enhance its contributions to the national economy through the consolidating its solid pillars such as the existence of experienced human competencies, highly qualified university graduates, vicinity of the Saudi market and advanced infrastructure for internet and mobile phones use, BTECH Board Chairman Obaidly Al-Obaidly said. He pointed out that the seminar would attract key speakers to discuss ways to develop the sector. He called on ICT companies from Bahrain and abroad and workers in the ICT sector to attend the seminar.
