Bahrain hosts 2017 International Quality Assurance Conference

Manama, May 17 (BNA): CEO Dr. Jawahir Al-Mudhiki of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training, affirmed that the security and stability witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain has considerably contributed to electing Bahrain to host 2017 Conference on International Network for Quality Assurance Authorities in Higher Education. Dr. Al-Mudhiki told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that 250 members of the International Network's General Assembly voted for Bahrain to host the international conference in the meeting held by the National Assembly on the sidelines of its conference held in Chicago-USA March 2015. She said that a number of the conference members have participated as speakers in similar events in Bahrain, during which they had the opportunity to be acquainted with the stable security atmosphere and achievements made in various areas. She added that the international conference to be held in Bahrain is a significant scientific meeting, where hundreds of international experts will meet to discuss issues related to quality assurance in higher education at the international level.
