Bahrain-EU human rights cooperation underlined

Manama, May 26 (BNA): Ombudsman Nawaf Al- Ma'awda received EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, and stressed keenness on achieving cooperation with many European and international institutions to promote Bahrain-EU human rights ties. Al-Ma'awda reviewed the main activities of the Ombudsman Office in receiving complaints and monitoring the reform and detention centers within the framework of bolstering human rights in the police work.
