Bahrain condemns Egypt Attorney-General assassination

Manama, June 29 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the assassination of Egypt's Attorney-General Hisham Barakat following the terrorist bomb attack targeted his convoy this morning. The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to Egypt's leadership, people and to the family of the deceased. It stressed that such cowardly terrorist act is contrary to the tolerant Islamic principles and all other heavenly religions and moral and humanitarian values. Bahrain reiterated its support for all Egypt's deterrent measures to be taken to eliminate all acts of terrorism aimed at undermining its stability and security and threating the safety of its citizens. Bahrain reconfirmed its denunciation and rejection of all forms of terrorism, regardless of its motives and justifications, calling on the international community to exert more effort to eradicate terrorism, which threatens all countries of the world.
