Bahrain backs Palestine's joining international treaties

Manama: April 3 – (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its welcoming and full support to the step taken by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's signing a document regarding the State of Palestine’s joining fifteen international agreements and treaties. Bahrain considers this initiative as a step in the right direction to ensure the lawful right of the Palestinian people in the aftermath of continuous Israeli obstinacy by dodging its obligation to implement the agreements concluded between the Palestinian and Israeli sides. The Kingdom of Bahrain reiterates its firm supportive stance vis-à-vis the Palestinian issue and that a comprehensive and fair peace cannot be achieved except after full Israeli withdrawal from Arab territories occupied since 1967 and the creation of a viable independent Palestinian State with its capital in Eastern Al-Quds in compliance with the relevant UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
