Bahrain backs OIC meeting results

Jeddah June 15 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain today hailed the positive outcome of the meeting which discussed the situation in Yemen. The session was convened at the request of the internationally-recognised legitimate Yemeni President and Government. In a statement tonight, the Kingdom of Bahrain hailed the successful and fruitful meeting which serves the vital interest of the Yemen and supports the ongoing efforts to save the Yemeni people from terrorist Houthis and stave off flagrant foreign interference outside the legitimate channels. Bahrain Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Representative to the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Shaikh Humood bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa led the Kingdom’s delegation to the (OIC) foreign ministers’ extraordinary meeting which was held today in Jeddah. The delegations discussed the situation in Yemen and ways of saving the Yemeni people and alleviating their suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias and their ally ousted President Ali Abdulla Saleh who staged a coup against the constitutional legitimacy, aided and abetted by a known regional force.
