Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency neutralizes 398 unexploded ordnances in liberated territories over past week

Baku, October 31, AZERTAC “During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 49 anti-personnel and 97 anti-tank mines, as well as 398 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from October 24 to 29,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement. “As a result, 350 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
