Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency: 271 unexploded ordnances neutralized in liberated territories over past week

Baku, October 17, AZERTAC “During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 33 anti-personnel and 111 anti-tank mines, as well as 271 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from October 10 to 15,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement. “As a result, 435 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
