Arab information ministers begin session

Cairo, May 21 (BNA): The Arab Information Minister Council began its 46th session in the Arab League headquarters themed "The role of the media in spreading tolerance values and fighting extremism". The session is being chaired by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) alongside with participation of Arab information ministers, heads of media corporations and news agencies from Arab countries. Information Affairs Minister, Isa Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, is leading the Kingdom's delegation. The Arab League's Deputy Secretary-General Ambassador Ahmed bin Hilli; and, the Assistant Secretary-General for Media Sector and Communications in the Arab League, Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazala, are also participate in the meeting.
