AL, AMU, OIC officials hold meeting

Sharm el-Shaikh, Mar. 29 – (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, participated in the third coordination meeting between the Arab League (AL), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) today on the side-lines of the 26th Arab Summit in Sharm el-Shaikh. The meeting was attended by Arab League (AL)'s Secretary-General, Dr. Nabil Al-Araby, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s Assistant Secretary-General Ambassador Abdullah Aalim and the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU)'s Secretary-General Al-Habib bin Yahya. The trilateral meeting discussed coordination regarding issues of concernment to the Arab and Muslim worlds, efforts being exerted in fighting terrorism, as well as coordination and cooperation in the field of humanitarian assistance.
