Advisory Council Holds Weekly Session

Doha, November 19 (QNA) - The Advisory (Shura) Council held on Monday its ordinary weekly meeting of its 41st regular session under its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, the Advisory Council Secretary-General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read the agenda, which was then agreed upon. The Advisory Council then endorsed the minutes of its previous session. The Council also read a memo by the General-Secretariat of the Cabinet addressed to the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage on the Cabinet's recommendations about a draft law for organizing media activities. The Advisory Council then took note of them. The Shura Council also reviewed a draft law amending some provisions of law No. (12) of the year 1972 on compulsory pricing and fixing profits and decided to submit it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee for further study and then prepare a supplementary report thereon to the Council.
