66 coaches attend basketball course

Manama, June 11 (BNA): A Level 1 course for national coaches got underway recently with 66 coaches taking part. The six-day course is being organized by the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) in cooperation with the Bahrain Olympic Committee and with support of the Olympic Solidarity Commission. Being staged at the BBA gym in Um Al Hassam, the course is presented by international instructor Muneer bin Sulaiman, and aims to provide participants with latest basketball training techniques. The Olympic Solidarity Commission, being headed by Shaikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah of Kuwait, manages the share of the broadcast rights from the Olympic Games - which belongs to the NOCs – and redistributes these funds through programmes offered to all NOCs recognised by the IOC.
