3rd Youth Theatre Festival to Kick Off December 23

Doha, December 03 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, the third Youth Theatre Festival is to kick off from December 23 to 29. The event is organized by the Youth Activities and Events Department at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage. Sic youth clubs and centers are taking part in the Festival including Al-Jasra Cultural and Social Club, Arrayan Sports Club, Al-Sadd Sports Club, Alarabi Sports Club, the Youth Center for Performing Arts and the Doha Youth Center are participating in the Festival. Head of the Youth Activities and Events Department Abdurrahman bin Mohammad al-Hajeri said in a press statement Monday that the Festival represents the biggest event for youth in terms of the great support provided by the Ministry of Culture, pointing out that the budget of this year's festival is one million riyals. QR 100,000 have been allocated for every theatrical work in addition to cash prizes ranging between 50 to 10 thousand riyals. (QNA)
