Qatar Airways Holds Travel Trade Workshop in Doha

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - Qatar Airways has held its annual travel trade workshop for over 500 Qatar-based travel agents and tour operators to provide product updates on the national airline. Held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, the day-long event gave the local trade an opportunity to learn more about the carrier s expansion plans and new products being introduced by the carrier over the next few months. From Qatar Airways Privilege Club frequent flyer programme and Qatar Airways Holidays, the line-up of presentations also covered updates on the airline s current fleet, international expansion, as well as promotional campaigns. A raffle draw proved popular as Business Class tickets were given away to four lucky individuals. The event was presided by Qatar Airways Vice-President Commercial-Qatar Ehab Amin who praised the trade for their ongoing support and commitment since the airline s inception 15 years ago. Qatar Airways sales team was out in strength to meet trade partners and discuss opportunities for the next 12 months. "The turnout at our annual workshop was bigger than ever before and we were delighted to share news and developments at Qatar Airways with the very travel trade partners we work with on a day to day basis," said Amin.
