Milaha Obtains US$95 Million Financing from International Islamic Bank

Doha, December 25 (QNA) - Milaha Maritime and Logistics, a subsidiary of Milaha (formerly known as Qatar Navigation), has secured financing "Ijara" of US$ 95 million from Qatar International Islamic Bank. The funds will be used for meeting the needs of the company s container transportation business. According to a statement published on the (Qatar Exchange) website, the financing agreement was signed by HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of Milaha, and Abdul Baset Ahmad Al-Shibi, Chief Executive Officer of International Islamic.
