Azerbaijan moves to Euro-3 fuel standard

Azerbaijan, Baku, July 18 / Trend, A. Hasanov / The Euro-3 fuel standard on emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere will be applied in Azerbaijan from the beginning of next month, head of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents Ramiz Hasanov said on Monday. He said the output of fuel within the Euro-4 standard is planned to be carried out in 2015. By this time local oil refineries will be able to produce fuel to meet this standard. Fuel for vehicles is produced at two oil refineries in Azerbaijan. Both oil refineries are on the balance sheets of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Do you have any feedback?
